He had a loud voice and through his local paper, The View, he used it often to support the right, and sometimes far-right, agendas. Often his articles became the motivator for others, from different beliefs, to circle their wagons, pick up their pens and by using neutral newspapers, to give “the rest of the story.”
Fred Fillbrook, who died Feb. 26, had a lot to do with me sitting in front of my computer and get its keys a moving for The Mill Creek Beacon.
