Residents could see a vote on whether to change fire districts in the April special election

Mill Creek City Council members signaled their support for changing fire districts during their meeting Feb. 8, which if approved by voters this spring could lead to lower property taxes collected by the city.
Mill Creek's current contract with Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue expires at the end of the year.
