Keep local storm drains clear of debris to prevent flooding

With the recent rainfall, officials are remaining everyone that it is important to keep an eye on local storm drains and keep them clear of debris that could allow flooding.

Fallen leaves, needles, and debris can pile up on the street drains between sweeping, especially when it rains, and cause neighborhood flooding. The same falling leaves and debris can pile up in local property too.

The City has over 4,000 storm drains to manage and appreciate any help from the community to keep the streets safe and sound.
