General elections updates; Allison holds lead over Briles

Updates to the results of the November general election show that first-time candidate Connie Allison maintains her lead over incumbent Benjamin Briles for Council Position 3 by 409 votes as of 3 p.m. Nov. 9.
Allison holds 2,609 votes, or 54.14% of the total. Briles holds 2,200, or 45.65% of the total.
Though starting out with an initial lead, first-time candidate Eric Cooke closely follows in his race against Mayor Brian Holtzclaw by 16 votes for Position 4. Holtzclaw has 2,387 votes, or 50.03% of the total. Cooke holds 2,371 votes, or 49.7% of the total.
