Vignal with big lead over Swett; Allison, Holtzclaw, Morgan ahead on first count

After the first count from Tuesday's general election, Position 2 incumbent Mayor Pro Tem Stephanie Vignal maintains a huge lead over Nicholas Swett with 1,812 votes, or 66.47% of the vote. Swett has 907 votes, or 33.27% of the vote.

For Position 3 is a tight race between Connie Allison and incumbent Benjamin Briles, with Allison in the lead. Briles has 1,237 votes, or 45.2% of the vote. Allison has 1,497, or 54.69% of the vote.

For Position 4 is another tight race between Eric J. Cooke and current Mayor Brian Holtzclaw, with Holtzclaw narrowly leading. Cooke has 1,348 votes, or 49.58% of t...
