The doctored-up ball leaves the pitcher's hand, and it's whirling around at 102 mph as it crosses the plate. The white ball is met by forces from a wooden bat, which instantly reverses the ball's direction and into the glove of the third baseman, who gobbles up the white-tainted dart and throws it to his first baseman for the final out.
Then a couple of fans slowly rise to acknowledge yet another polluted no-hitter. Heretofore, Major League Baseball (MLB) owners have come together to put a stop to the illegal use of foreign substances on baseballs.
We can use the MLB owners taking charge...
