Health care workers with inactive licenses can give COVID-19 vaccine

The Washington State Department of Health has freed up a regulatory obstacle to the vaccination effort.
The DOH, in partnership with our health profession boards and commissions, is allowing retired health care workers to administer COVID-19 shots, under certain circumstances, even if their licenses are expired or inactive. The goal is to ensure a robust workforce to help bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
