Actor Ben Vereen’s words give us a GPS in respect to the question: What will lead us to a better tomorrow? Vereen’s advice: “If we plant the right seeds, tomorrow will be better.”

If this is true, the opposite is also true, which is if we plant the wrong seeds, tomorrow will be worse. That latter advice can showcase how we Mill Creek voters want our local government managed.

The majority of voters, then, are the ones who throw out the most seeds, and rightly so; they set the harvest for all of us to reap. In the city of Mill Creek’s case, the balloters are planting the same old...
