Rotary food drive steps up

Mill Creek residents demonstrated their holiday spirit during the Thanksgiving season when the Rotary Club of Mill Creek collected and delivered 5,281 pounds of food and supplies to people in need.
“You outdid yourselves, and we are very thankful for your help in this time of hardship,” said Mary Kay Voss, chair of the Rotary’s Drive4Food project.
But the need continues along with the holidays. Voss said the Food Bank is desperate again, particularly with the most recent shutdown ordered by state health officials that has again put people out of work.
