Everett schools plan for small groups

Everett Public Schools plans to bring back 175 students for onsite education, with a goal of return set for Nov. 2.

“With the precautions we are putting in place in our buildings and for our students and staff, we are ready to bring our most (educationally) vulnerable students back into the classrooms,” said Ian Saltzman, superintendent.

Parents were given the option to choose hybrid or remote experiences for their students; staff and teachers had a weigh-in as well.

The decision to bring back the small group of students with a greater need for onsite learning is aligned with guidance...
