COVID scare leads to four-day closure for Towne Center Starbucks
One employee had symptoms, but tested negative for the virus

A four-day closure of Town Center Starbucks ended with negative tests for COVID-19 after the company sent one employee in for testing and several more into self-quarantine.
“Out of an abundance of caution, the store closed precautionarily,” said Jory Mendes of Starbucks’ corporate communications department.
Starbucks posted a sign on its door and locked up after an employee showed symptoms that could have indicated a case of the virus. Information was not available on what symptoms triggered the response, but in an email requesting comment, Mendes said the symptomatic employee test...
