Memorial Day plans, City parks, and an update on the police chief records

Plans for Memorial Day

At the City Council meeting on April 28, city staff shared two potential plans for Memorial Day celebrations. One idea is to hold a ceremony with no more than 10 members at the City's Veterans Monument next to the library, and to livestream the video on social media so more people may attend virtually. In addition, City Manager Michael Ciaravino suggested the City may do a "reverse parade" instead of a traditional celebration, due to the restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
