It's been two months since the ladies of the Novel Women of Mill Creek have seen each other in person due to the coronavirus.

Local book club meetings are in a hiatus right now due to the coronavirus. However, Novel Women of Mill Creek plans to hold a meeting in May in a member's back yard following social distancing guidelines. Lawn chairs will be separated by six feet on each side and members will bring their own refreshments. Not all members can attend this special outdoor meeting due to health concerns, but those who can are looking forward to visiting with old friends in person for the first time in two months.

In the meantime, Novel Women of Mill Creek offer their selected reads for 2020:

"My Sister, the Serial Killer: A Novel" by Oyinkan Braithwaite

"The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein

"Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens

"The Reckoning" by John Grisham

"The Giver of Stars" by JoJo Moyes

"Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman# ##

"No No Boy" by John Okada# ##

"Before We Were Yours" by Lisa Wingate

Every one of these books is worthy of your time!
