The Jackson boys basketball team is coming together well after opening the season with a pair of losses.

The Timberwolves returned three players with significant varsity experience – second-team, all-league guard/forward Jaylen Searles, junior guard/forward Carter Korab, and senior guard Jesse Hoiby. But the rest of the squad is largely new to varsity and combined with the graduation of last year’s top two scorers and leaders – Ben Olesen and Christian Liddell – it wasn’t a shock that the Wolfpack lost to two good teams – Skyview and Marysville-Pilchuck – to start out the 2019...
