Local Bonnie and Clyde
Officers responded to a felony theft report near the 2000 block of 132nd St SE. A 50-year-old female and 50-year-old male are under investigation for Organized Retail Theft spanning four counties.

Hit and run by stolen vehicle
Officers responded to a hit and run collision at the intersection of 25th Ave SE and 132nd St SE. Investigation revealed that the driver who fled the scene had been driving a stolen car. No injuries were reported and the case is under investigation.

Drunk honesty
Officers responded to a warrant arrest in the 3900 block of 141st PL SE. A 41-year-old Mill Creek resident called 911 to turn herself in on a warrant. The woman was booked at the Snohomish County Jail after first obtaining a medical clearance at the local hospital due to her level of alcohol intoxication.

Child critically injured
Detectives with the Traffic Safety Unit investigated a collision that critically injured Everett girl. Arriving officers found a 2 year-old girl who had been run over by a full-sized Toyota Sequoia. The driver, a neighbor in his mid-30’s, remained at the scene. The girl was immediately taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in critical condition. It is not currently known what injuries she sustained. The driver told detectives he was turning a corner on the private driveway and did not see the child.

Everett man arrested for murder
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit arrested a 30 year-old Everett man for first-degree murder in connection with the Oct. 12 death investigation in the 11600 block of Highway 99. The suspect was taken into custody at his residence in Everett and then booked into Snohomish County jail without incident. Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, detectives believe the decedent, a 29 year-old Everett woman, was a victim of homicidal violence.

Fatal collision in Sultan
The Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit responded to a fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian collision near US 2 and Sultan Basin Road around 1 a.m. A 27 year-old male walked into moving traffic and was struck by a vehicle. The victim died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The road was closed for several hours during the investigation Sunday morning. Identification of the deceased, as well as cause and manner, are pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
