Glacier Peak overcame a sluggish first half by turning up the defensive pressure on Kamiak.
The Grizzlies used a half-court trap to disrupt the Knights and limited their opponent to only 15 points in the second half.
On the offensive end, the shots started to fall and Glacier Peak pulled away for a 54-40 victory in a Wesco 4A boys basketball game Friday, Jan. 25, at Kamiak High School.
Grizzly coach Brian Hunter wasn’t surprised that Kamiak played the defending league champions tough.
