Jackson head football coach Joel Vincent is turning in his headset.
After 21 years of guiding the Timberwolves as head coach and 29 years of coaching, Vincent is stepping down at the end of season. Vincent said that he plans to submit his formal letter of resignation on Monday, Nov. 5.
It’s a decision Vincent made months ago.
“I told the administration and I told the players before the season on Day One that this is going to be my last run,” Vincent said. “Somebody told me a long time ago that you’ll know when it’s time.”
