Glacier Peak’s Connor May has never shied away from new challenges.
May started gymnastics in the sixth grade and continued until his freshman year of high school when he decided to move on and try something new.
He didn’t stray too far from his flips and somersaults, as he took up diving.
May, who relocated from Colorado, soon experienced the pinnacle of success.
The Glacier Peak standout took first place at last year’s 3A state diving championships, scoring 461.05 points to finish ahead of second-place Jon Netzel of Shelton, who had 409.55.
