Fortive well on its way to Fortune 500 | Taking Stock

Fortive, the newest and largest exchange traded, shareholder-owned company headquartered in Snohomish County, released its third-quarter sales and earnings figures on Oct. 27.
Fortive is a holding company for 16 subsidiary companies, the names of which alphabetically go from Anderson-Negele to Thomson. Among those subsidiaries are Fluke in Everett and Tektronix near Portland.
Through three quarters of 2016, Fortive has sales of $4.6 billion. That is a number that places Fortive in line to qualify for the Fortune 500 list when it is published in the spring of 2017.
