Free adult vaccination clinic Jan. 13 in Lynnwood

Posted

A free adult vaccination clinic open to the entire community will be held Monday, Jan. 13, at the Well Being Community Center, with no insurance required.

The clinic runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at 5326 176th St. SW in Lynnwood and is hosted by the Well Being Community Center in collaboration with the Verdant Health Commission, Snohomish County Health Department, Marz Group and Silver Creek Family Church.

Organizers say the event is designed to remove barriers to care while connecting residents with local resources. In addition to free adult vaccinations, the first 50 attendees will receive gift cards. Notary services, community resource information and emergency preparedness packages will also be available on site.

“Everyone is welcome,” organizers said, encouraging attendees to bring family members, friends and neighbors.

The Well Being Community Center focuses on serving under-resourced and vulnerable families at no cost. Its work includes support groups, classes, cultural celebrations, arts programs, environmental initiatives and assistance accessing resources such as food, housing and legal services.

The organization’s mission centers on building a community where residents feel they belong and have access to mental, physical, social and emotional well-being supports.
