Letter to the Editor: New Police Chief White is ready and capable to lead the department

As a citizen, resident, and volunteer of Mill Creek, I am very pleased with the choice our city manager made for our new chief of police, Stan White.
He is a dedicated police officer who will put forth all his effort to create a great police department. Chief White will do a great job leading the police force to work with and protect the citizens of Mill Creek.
In my experience with Chief White, he has been professional, respectful, approachable, and compassionate. He has worked with our community collaboratively to make it a friendly and safe place to live. He has been an advocate for his police team by securing funds for equipment and materials that the police need to do their job safely and effectively. Chief White is ready and capable to build our police force to meet the needs of our city.
As an active volunteer in our community, I have total confidence in Chief White to do what’s best for Mill Creek.
