John Lovick to speak at Shoreline pickleball tournament
State senator championed bill to make pickleball the state sport

The largest pickleball tournament in Washington is July 20-24 at Shoreview Park, 17229 Third Ave. NW, Shoreline. Times are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Seattle Metro Pickleball Classic, now in its third year, attracts players from all over the state, and even as far as Taiwan.
State Sen. John Lovick (D-Mill Creek), who championed a bill to make pickleball the state sport, is scheduled to speak Saturday, July 23, at 7:45 a.m.
The tournament was created by Edmonds resident Patrick Johnson.
