Archbishop Murphy athletic booster Roman Miller dies

Roman Miller

Roman Miller, a longtime supporter of Archbishop Murphy High School and its athletic programs, has died, according to AMHS President Steve Schmutz.

In a Facebook post, Schmutz said he was informed Thursday of Miller's passing.

Miller, 95, served on the Board of Trustees and was an adviser to the athletic office. He often could be seen on the sidelines of football games at the high school. The baseball field at Archbishop Murphy was named Roman Miller Field in 2009.
