A Mill Creek Bank was robbed at about 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, at 132nd Street SE and Seattle Hill Road, reports the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

A suspect left a package and indicated it was an explosive, leading to those at the bank and nearby Osborn Corner businesses to evacuate.

A bomb squad was dispatched; the suspect fled and has not been located.

The bomb squad cleared the building, and no explosive device was located.

The suspect left a bag with three road flares duct-taped to an alarm clock.
