Cascadia Art Museum's exhibit on Kenjiro Nomura is included in the Day of Remembrance. The artist and his family were incarcerated during World War II.
On Sunday, Feb. 20, Cascadia Art Museum in Edmonds will focus its attention on the signing 80 years ago of Executive Order 9066, which began the incarceration of Americans of Japanese descent, by hosting a Day of Remembrance.
Ticket are $9-$12, free for members, students, and children, and are available online or at the door. The Day of Remembrance is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with different performances and experiences scheduled each hour.
