The life and times of a beloved Seattle Greek family restaurant is the subject of a new memoir by Mill Creek-area resident and University of Washington faculty member Taso Lagos.
The Continental Restaurant was a mainstay of Seattle's University District for decades. Over the years other businesses – book and cookie stores, head shops, even a MacDonald's – came and went, but The Conti, as the family called it, served a dedicated clientele on "The Ave" for half a lifetime.
