Educators train for shooting they hope never happens

While the Nov. 30 killing spree at a high school north of Detroit was just the latest horrific shooting that has plagued America’s schools, Everett Public Schools’ (EPS) educators appear to be well prepared to act quickly should a tragic incident occur here.

According to Kathy Reeves, EPS director of communications, the district has dealt with three concerning incidents just in the past month.
