Do dogs need masks, too?

As we approach another winter season during the pandemic, disease and illness are all people can think about. We've been bombarded with mask mandates and vaccines, but what about our dogs?
Since the pandemic, many dog parks have remained open, and demand for veterinary care has gone up. Though dogs may occasionally catch diseases from socializing like people do, they won't need masks or social distancing at the local dog park. Their owners also won't need to worry about their pet catching COVID-19. What the pooches will need, however, are their vaccines.
