Initial vote results; Vignal leads over Swett

First-time candidate Allison pulls ahead against incumbent Briles

Updated results of the general election on Tuesday show that, as of 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, Stephanie Vignal still maintains a huge lead over Nicholas Swett, first-time candidate Connie Allison pulls ahead of incumbent Benjamin Briles, Mayor Brian Holtzclaw holds a slight lead over first-time candidate Eric Cooke, and Melissa Duque appears to be in yet another neck-and-neck race with incumbent Adam Morgan.

Mill Creek voters will be welcoming back incumbent Councilmember John Steckler for another term.

For Position 1, Steckler is running unopposed with 2,904 votes, or 96.13%, with 117 vote...
