School resource officer interlocal agreement renewed

The Mill Creek Police Department has requested a renewal of its interlocal agreement with the Everett School District for school resource officers to serve on local campuses for the 2021-22 school year during the Sept. 28 City Council meeting.
"Mill Creek Police Department has developed a strong partnership with the Everett School District for the past several years," said chief of police Jeff Young. "We currently have two officers serving as school resource officers at Jackson High School and Heatherwood Middle School."
