Police seeking body camera vendors
Program expected to come with large price tag

Earlier this month, the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office announced the start of a test program to outfit selected Sheriff's deputies with body-worn cameras (BWC).
"One of the things that BWCs can do is help provide an objective, unbiased perspective during rapidly unfolding and dynamic situations police are often called to," said Mill Creek Public Information Officer and police Cpl. Ian Durkee.
"BWCs also provide an objective perspective for our community members that reflects the good work we do and how our officers' actions embody our core values on a daily basis."
