Police chaplain honors victims of 9/11 for 20th anniversary

Saturday, Sept. 11, Police Chaplain Nick Lewis spoke in remembrance of the victims of the attacks on 9/11 that happened 20 years ago.

On Saturday, Sept 11, The City of Mill Creek hosted a virtual speech by Mill Creek Police Chaplain Nick Lewis commemorating the victims, families, and survivors of attacks on 9/11 that happened 20 years ago.

Chaplain Lewis spoke recognizing the lasting consequences of 9/11 and honoring the 2,977 lives that were lost in New York City, Washington, DC, and outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

"Indeed a horrific day that will remain burned in our memories forever," he said. "Let us take a moment to honor and remember all those who died and are still dying today."
