Primary election finalized

Result data show voting trends in Mill Creek

On Tuesday, Aug. 17, results of the Aug. 3 primary elections were certified and finalized by the county. The early results for the Mill Creek City Council Position 6 race have not changed.

Melissa Duque maintained her slight lead over incumbent Adam Morgan by just 21 votes in their neck-and-neck campaign for the council position. Both will be advancing to the Nov. 2 general election, while Shannon Warren will not.

Out of Snohomish County's 507,327 registered voters, 137,016 had turned in ballots, a return rate of 27%. That was lower than the statewide rate of 29.7%.
