Backpacks of Hope to help local kids in need

Halfway to donation goal with plenty of support from community for students

Hope Creek Charitable Foundation at Gold Creek Community Church is accepting donations via barrels in the lobby for its month-long back-to-school drive for local students in need. With the upcoming school year fast approaching, some families who have taken the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic are struggling to provide the necessary supplies for their children.

Hope Creek Charitable Foundation at Gold Creek Community Church is collecting donations in August for its back-to-school supply drive for students in need of school supplies.

As COVID has left a devastating impact on the economy, families affected by the circumstances have turned to the local community food bank for necessities and supplies.

One way that Hope Creek has helped families is by providing backpacks filled with supplies and food to help students in need get through the school year.
