It's finally festival season again. Missing out on the Mill Creek Festival last year was a huge bummer for us all. With things starting to shift back to normalcy, I'm glad to be able to enjoy community traditions such as the festival once again.
That does not mean I won't be enjoying it from behind a face mask with some hand sanitizer at the ready. COVID cases are surging once more in the county, and with the recent mandates on face coverings and social distancing in an indoor setting, it can't hurt to be extra careful in a setting where streets will be packed with festival visitors.
