The Northwest Stream Center is located in McCollum Park on a 20-acre site leased from Snohomish County Parks and Recreation approximately a half-mile east of Interstate 5 between Seattle and Everett, WA. Two salmon streams flow on the grounds that are covered with complex wetland systems and pockets of upland old second-growth forest.

"This is a great location," said Adopt a Stream Foundation (AASF) Director Tom Murdoch. "Here, we have all the ingredients necessary to teach people how to become stewards of their watersheds, and it is accessible to everyone along the I-5 corridor."
