Plastic bag ban back on the front burner

Dig out those reusable grocery bags you haven't used since early last year. A statewide prohibition on single-use plastic carryout bags, delayed by the pandemic, is back on track following action by the governor this week.

On Tuesday, July 13, Gov. Jay Inslee gave notice that he was rescinding a proclamation related to the use of plastic bags.
