I walked inside a building last week, one of those COVID-inspired moments that I'm sure will be represented in at least three Super Bowl ads next year.
You know what I mean. The focus is soft, the music swells, and the montage begins. A beloved barber shop reopens, with a teenager the first one in the chair and everyone high-fiving everyone else.
An old man shuffles into a church and then looks around in wonder, slowly removing his mask. A small child sees her grandmother, and with a puzzled expression asks, "Are you real?," lips quivering, before dissolving into hugs and product placement...
