An E. coli strain that sent a child to the hospital in Snohomish County may be tied to a PCC Market brand yogurt.
The DOH reports that the multi-county E. coli outbreak that has sickened 11 and hospitalized seven and triggered a serious condition called hemolytic uremic syndrome in three, the DOH states. The outbreak is likely tied to yogurt made by Pure Eire Dairy; a PCC Markets brand.
