Woodside Elementary's Allison Greenberg was one of three in the state honored recently for science teaching.
The Bothell area science teacher and STEM coordinator is a finalist in the 2020 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, granted to science, technology, engineering, mathematics and computer science teachers. She now qualifies to be considered for the national award. If won, it comes with a signed certificate signed by President Joe Biden, a $10,000 award, and a trip to Washington D.C. to take part in professional development activities.
