Glacier Peak High School senior Amelia Ebling has drawings and paintings on-exhibit at Schack Art Center. She is preparing to major in art, at Whitman College.

Amelia Ebling uses drawing and painting as a way to relax, and the next steps she takes will make it a profession.

The Glacier Peak High School senior lives with her family in the Cathcart area. Ebling's and others have their work displayed at 2921 Hoyt Ave. in Everett through Feb. 28 https://bit.ly/3tR5kJ0.

Ebling is 17 and already accepted to Whitman College. She turns 18 in June.

She submitted six pieces displayed at the Schack Art Center. Her awards include a Gold Key for "Owl Eyes" and "Striking," Silver Keys for "Curiosity Killed the Cat" and "Life Through Death" and an honorable m...
