Passport expansion still shelved, due to COVID-19

Mill Creek has plans to increase services, once restrictions lift

During the budgeting process for the biennial budget approved at the end of 2020, the City of Mill Creek discussed expansion of passport services.

All budget-process plans and projections were with the expectation that COVID-19 would begin to turn around, allowing for re-opening of services in that department. The passport expansion was a tool to recover from pandemic losses, officials said.

As recovery from the pandemic unfolds in 2021, those plans may come to fruition as well. The Beacon has contacted the City's passport office, for details on any upcoming expansion plans.
