New drive-through vaccine sites open

Two of the three new drive-through vaccination sites are open at Paine Field in Everett. Paine Field sites kicked off Jan. 6 and are available by appointment only for those who are in the current phase of COVID vaccination. The third is located at the Monroe Fairgrounds. Drive-through options are intended to sup- plement the existing healthcare system, which continues to provide most vaccinations. The task force that implemented the drive-through sites is planning for additional mobile or pop-up vaccination sites and is reaching out to employers and community organizations, to expand access; particularly for those with barriers to accessing health care.
