In spite of the obstacles created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mill Creek Women's Club is continuing philanthropic efforts.
The club has met on Zoom through pandemic restrictions, with the hope of resuming luncheon meetings and other programs in 2021. The Zoom option is for members only. Once membership is confirmed, meetings can be attended at no charge.
The Dec. 16 meeting was a "Christmas Past" event with musical performance by the well known and loved "Dickens Carolers" who have performed at Christmastime around the Northwest. At the program, MCWC will feature heirlooms, treasured gifts or decorations that come out every year to remind viewers of times with beloved family members.
The November Auction raised $20,000 in support of Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, and YWCA Pathways for Women.
