The chief of staff role for the city of Mill Creek has been replaced with a combination role that supports the city manager.
City Manager Ciaravino has been criticized for the hire of Grace Lockett, current Chief of Staff, because she was someone he had worked with in the past. Ciaravino announced plans to replace the chief of staff position and advertise publicly for a new person to fill that role. The replacement will be a person who serves as Ciaravino's second-in-line, with the title of Deputy City Manager and Internal Auditor.
