Mill Creek ballot box is second-most used

Struck twice, it still took in 28,742 ballots

The ballot box at the Mill Creek Post Office had an adventurous and successful election season.

It was struck, replaced, struck again, and replaced again – then the newest shiniest version near downtown Mill Creek was moved to a new spot next to the existing U.S. Postal box, on the south side of the traffic circle at the intersection of 159th Place SE and Mill Creek Boulevard.

Both ballot box pummeling incidents were ruled an accident, Mill Creek Police said.
