Mill Creek businesses sought to host rocks that show uplifting messages

Kindness Rocks is a program that partners with service agencies and businesses to spread good thoughts. The hand-painted rocks carry inspiring and uplifting messages. They will be distributed in the Snohomish County area in an upcoming, one-day event.

Dawson Place is inviting a Mill Creek or Bothell location to serve as a pick-up location for rocks, for a World Kindness Day on Nov. 13. Host locations will be ready to distribute small handheld rocks painted with uplifting words and messages. The rocks are placed where people will find them. They can take a rock home, or put it elsewhere to pay the message forward. The hope is that seeing words such as "hope" or "heal" or "do good" will bring positive thoughts that will spread to other people. The Kindness Rocks Project is a trademarked endeavor...
