Toward the beginning of COVID time, I made a half-serious joke. A half-joke.

It was along the lines of, “I’m eating plain flour tortillas, watching cat videos, and shopping online for a green screen.” It was meant to be commentary on boredom, back when that seemed the only real concern I had.

I had other concerns. Public health, for one. But in my personal life, after essentially locking the doors and filling the freezer, I figured we’d just wait this one out. We were advised to stay at home, and I could do that.

I got busier, actually, but there were always those hours normally...
