Rain and other precipitation eventually finds its way into waterways, with Mill Creek stormwater eventually finding its way to the Puget Sound. The City of Mill Creek is asking for public comment on its Storm Water Management Plan.

Clean water depends on having a plan

The water that flows over streets, sidewalks, and through soil and into groundwater carries pollutants that eventually flow into the Puget Sound – so cities must take action. The City of Mill Creek is preparing a draft of its 2020 Storm Water Management Plan, which describes actions the City, businesses and homeowners must take "to preserve and enhance the environment as it is affected by storm water," a city press release states.
