Editor's goodbye

I took a look at the Nov. 15, 2019 issue of the Beacon before I began writing this. Why? It was my first issue as the editor and reporter of the Beacon, so I was wondering what I had written to introduce myself to all of you.
Back then, the front page consisted of local election results (no changes to city leadership! Is it time for a change perhaps?), an anonymous bomb threat at Glacier Peak High School, a photo of the Veterans Day parade, and the city manager’s proposed new positions: a chief of staff and an executive assistant.
A lot has changed since November.
